In today’s edition of L.A. Eats, I’d like to introduce you to a new favorite: Silver Lake Ramen. As the name implies, this restaurant is located in Silver Lake and serves — you guessed it — ramen. Specifically, it’s located right near the corner of Sunset and Silver Lake Blvd.
Their menu is fairly simple: a few different types of ramen, rice bowls, sushi rolls, and appetizers. And for those who enjoy a little alcoholic indulgence, they also serve sake and beer.
Some of their menu highlights include the Tonkotsu ramen and the spicy ramen topped with pork belly (pictured below). The spicy ramen is a delicious blend of creamy, spicy goodness. The noodles are perfectly tender — not too soft. The pork belly melts between your teeth.
If you don’t mind a wait, or if you go early in the evening or during the week, this place is definitely worth checking out! Let me know if you try it!
