Diego Luna’s Children Back at Home After Three Weeks of Coronavirus Quarantine

The ‘A Rainy Day in New York’ actor reveals in a live Q&A session that eleven-year-old Jeronimo and nine-year-old Fiona tested positive for COVID-19 in March, but has since recovered.

AceShowbiz -Actor Diego Luna‘s kids are back home after spending three weeks in quarantine following a coronavirus scare.

Jeronimo, 11, and his nine-year-old sister Fiona have recovered from COVID-19 after testing positive for the virus last month, and the “Star Wars” actor is thankful his kids are going to be OK.

“My kids had the virus long ago and they just were allowed to come home,” the 40 year old said during a live question-and-answer session with IndieWire via Instagram on Thursday, April 09. “They’re immune now, they’re in the next stage. Yesterday was the first night they slept here and life has changed dramatically for me.”

“I was, like, three weeks not being able to hug them or get close to them, and finally I am (sic).”

The kids are from his five year marriage to singer Camila Sodi, which ended in 2013.

He isn’t the only star who has had to deal with severely sick kids during the ongoing pandemic – Pink‘s three-year-old son Jameson was also violently ill as both he and his mum battled the virus last month.

Rihanna's dad thought he would die amid coronavirus battle: 'I feared the worst'

Rihanna’s dad, Ronald Fenty, revealed he feared for his life after battling coronavirus.

The 66-year-old opened up about his illness, heaping praise on his daughter – real name Robyn Fenty – for checking up on him every day.

In fact, he explained the devoted Diamonds singer, 32, even managed to obtain a ventilator, shipping it to his Caribbean home.

‘My daughter Robyn was checking in on me every day,’ he said. ‘I thought I was going to die, to be honest. I have to say, I love you so much, Robyn.

‘She did so much for me. I appreciate everything she has done.’

Ronald said the illness – which has infected more than one million people around the world – left him sure that he would die.

Discussing his symptoms, he recalled getting a fever ‘up inside’ his nose and ‘across his lips’.

Thankfully, doctors declared that he was free of Covid-19 after spending 14 days in quarantine at the Paragon Isolation Center.

‘I feared the worst. I thought I was going to die, honestly,’ he added to the Sun.

Rihanna has donated more than $5million (£4.2m) to help aid coronavirus relief through her Clara Lionel Foundation, giving millions of dollars to help those on the ‘frontlines of the disaster’.

A statement given to People magazine read: ‘CLF is supporting on-the-ground partners working on the frontlines of disaster response especially those focused on protecting and serving marginalised communities – helping the most vulnerable in the United States, the Caribbean and in Africa prepare for what is to come.’

While Executive Director Justine Lucas added: ’Never has it been more important or urgent to protect and prepare marginalised and underserved communities–those who will be hit hardest by this pandemic.’

The funds will be distributed between the World Health Organisation’s Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund, Direct Relief, the International Rescue Committee, Partners In Health and Feeding America, among others.

As well as this, she is helping local foodbanks in the US, speeding up testing efforts and providing protective equipment for those on the frontline.

And the Work singer also joined forces with Jay-Z to donate $2million (£1.6m) to help relief efforts in New York and Los Angeles, in a bid to support undocumented workers, those who are incarcerated, the homeless and elderly populations and children of frontline healthcare workers.

Rihanna’s Dad ‘Thought He Would Die‘ From Coronavirus: Singer Sent Him A Ventilator

Rihanna’s dad in Barbados caught the coronavirus, and he said he felt like he was going to die. She’s been checking in on him and even sent him a ventilator.

Rihanna and her dad Ronald Fenty have not had the easiest of relationships, but she put his health first when he came down with the coronavirus. He’s at home on her native island of Barbados, where Ronald spent 14 days inside the Paragon Isolation Center there being treated. He’s at home now and spoke to the UK’s The Sun. He still refers to RiRi by her first name, Robyn, and told the publication, “My daughter Robyn was checking in on me every day.”

“I thought I was going to die to be honest. I have to say, I love you so much, Robyn,” the 66-year-old told The Sun‘s reporter while standing at his gate. “She did so much for me. I appreciate everything she has done.” The pop superstar even bought her dad a ventilator and sent it to him in Barbados, but he said he had not needed it as it was a fever that got the worst of him.

“I got a fever up inside of my nose. I had a fever across my lips. It was just a lot of fever. I feared the worst. I thought I was going to die, honestly,” he revealed. Ronald also said that Rihanna gave him “more than” he needed to get through the illness. He has now been declared virus-free and is recuperating at the home she purchased for him. Ronald had one of the few cases that Barbados has seen of the COVID-19 virus, and only three people have died from it on the Caribbean island.

Ronald made a call for the local government to “shut down,” and begged his fellow citizens to self-isolate. “I want everybody to stay home. This is a serious situation. More serious than people realize. Please stay home,” he told the publication.

Rihanna hasn’t just been generous with her dad. On March 23 through the singer’s Clara Lionel Foundation, she donated $5 million to various charitable organizations “to prepare communities w/ critical protective gear, medical supplies, equipment and access to food across multiple countries and regions,” including her home country of Barbados.

On March 31 the singer’s Clara Lionel Foundation donated $1 million to COVID-19 response efforts that will be matched by rapper JAY-Z’s equally thoughtful donation from his Shawn Carter Foundation. The total $2 million will support undocumented workers, the children of frontline health workers and first responders, and incarcerated, elderly and homeless populations in New York City and Los Angeles. On April 9, the CLF donated $2.1 million to the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles to address the current crisis for domestic violence victims in Los Angeles as a result of the COVID-19 “stay at home” order. What a hero RiRi is.

Netflix Debuts ‘The Half of It’ Trailer – Watch! (Video)

The Half of It just got a new trailer!

The upcoming film, set to be released on Netflix on May 1, was written and directed by Alice Wu.

Leah Lewis, Daniel Diemer, Alexxis Lemire, Enrique Murciano, Wolfgang Novogratz, Catherine Curtin, Becky Ann Baker and Collin Chou all star in the movie.

“So here I am, staring down the barrel of mid-life, having just made a movie about teenagers. Now that it’s done, I can see a few things more clearly. For one: I used to think there was only one way to love. That A plus B minus C equals Love. Now that I’m older, I see there are more. So many more ways to love than I had ever imagined,” the director said.

Here’s a plot summary: bookish introvert Ellie Chu is perfectly content with her life: watching old movies with her widowed father and ghostwriting papers for her high school classmates to help pay the bills. But her side gig turns personal when lovelorn jock Paul Munsky (Diemer) hires her to craft love notes to Aster Flores (Lemire) — a smart, popular girl out of both their leagues… and Ellie’s own secret crush. Just as the duo’s plan begins to work, a new wrinkle emerges: Ellie and Paul have fallen into a deep friendship neither could have anticipated, giving rise to a surprising love triangle. .

Jennifer Stone’s Instagram About Fighting Coronavirus As A Nurse Is So Inspiring

If you’re wondering what Jennifer Stone has been up to since Wizards of Waverly Place ended in 2012, she’s been busy hitting the books for the past few years at school. After finally graduating in December 2019, Stone is ready to go into the field as a registered nurse and join other health care workers who are fighting the coronavirus pandemic. You need to see Jennifer Stone’s Instagram about fighting coronavirus as a nurse because it’s so inspiring.

After a friend reminded her April 7 was World Health Day, Stone celebrated the occasion by sharing a photo of some of her identification cards when she was a volunteer, a student nurse, and now a registered nurse, in order to reveal she was officially beginning her first post-graduate medical job.

"A very good friend of mine (@maiarawalsh ) pointed out to me that today is #worldhealthday. It is also the day I went from a volunteer, then a student nurse, and now an RN resident. I just hope to live up to all of the amazing healthcare providers on the front lines now as I get ready to join them. #worldhealthorganization #supportnurses #westayhereforyou❤️pleasestayhomeforus #covid2020," Stone wrote.

"You might not have magical powers but you definitely are a hero," a fan commented, referring to Stone’s role as Harper Finkle on WOWP. "I knew Harper would find her powers eventually," Stone replied.

Many fans expressed their excitement for Stone’s new career path, but they also revealed they were going to miss seeing her acting on screen. That’s when Stone cleared up she planned on balancing both roles simultaneously. "Still actress just also RN," she clarified, adding she’ll take plenty of "night shifts, coffee, and naps."

Following her first post, Stone thanked all her fans for their nice comments by sharing a picture of herself wearing a mask and giving a thumbs up.

"Why am I giving a thumbs up like a lame uncle? Because I’m wearing a mask to flatten the curve, you can’t see me smiling out of gratitude for hitting 300,000 followers! Thank you guys for all of your love and support," she captioned the post.

Stone fighting coronavirus as a nurse already made her a hero, but to add acting on top of that only makes her that much more inspiring.

Tiger King Reunion Special: Who Will Be On Hand For the LIVE Event?

By now, you’ve almost certainly heard about the Netflix phenomenon that is Tiger King.

And unless you’re one of those weirdos who’s spending their quarantine pursuing a new hobby or re-connecting with family, there’s a good chance you’ve watched the entire thing six or seven times and launched your own cold case investigation into the disappearance of Carole Baskin’s husband.

A whopping 34 million people watched the docuseries in its first 10 days on the streaming service.

To put that into perspective, the once-popular ABC sitcom Modern Family came to an end last night, and the much-hyped finale drew the show’s biggest ratings in three years — with about 7 million viewers,

So it should come as no surprise that Netflix is striking while the iron is hot by cranking out new Tiger King content.

We learned earlier this week that Tiger King is coming back very soon.

Now, we have details regarding exactly what the new episode will look like.

Usually, when a hit reality series wants to generate a new episode out of thin air, it turns to that trusty old standby — the reunion episode.

You know the format — stars of the show sit around and discuss all the drama of the past season.

It’s never as compelling as the stuff that came before, but it’s usually enough to hold the diehards over until next season.

Of course, assembling a Tiger King reunion is not quite as simple as bringing a group of Real Housewives together so they can be grilled by Andy Cohen.

Joe Exotic is in prison serving a 22-year sentence, the GW Zoo he once owned is no more, and various other cast members were openly displeased with the way they were portrayed on the series and might not be too keen for sitting down with filmmakers for a sequel.

So who will be on hand for the reunion?

Well, that’s not entirely clear.

Thus far, the only newly-minted Tiger King star who has confirmed that he’ll be in attendance is bandana and orgy enthusiast Jeff Lowe.

It’s safe to assume that Joe Exotic pre-taped an interview segment — otherwise, what’s the point of this thing? — but prison rules will likely prevent him from participating in the live portion of the show.

Sadly, it seems the other most-talked about star will definitely not be participating.

“We have not been approached about a new episode and would not participate if asked,” a rep for Carole Baskin tells Entertainment Weekly.

No surprise there, as a previous statement issued by Baskin’s PR team derided the series as “salacious and sensational” and thretened a lawsuit against he filmmakers.

Her displeasure is understandable, as the doc prompted authorities to re-open the investigation into Baskin and the disappearance of her second husband.

And it seems Joe Exotic’s most loyal representative on the outside also will not be on hand for the reunion.

“It’s going to be a live episode, kind of like a reunion,” Joe’s husband, Dillon Passage, confirmed in a recent interview with Andy Cohen.

“Netflix didn’t contact me to [be] a part of that.”

In terms of major players, we guess that leaves Rick Kirkham, John Finlay, and Doc Antle, who has also been openly critical of the series.

It’s starting to sound like this might be one sparsely-attended reunion — but who are we kidding? We’ll be tuning in any way.

Hell, it could be nothing but Saff sitting in a folding chair and recounting the tale of getting her arm ripped off by a tiger for an hour, and we’d still be happy.

Come to think of it, that sounds like pretty solid television.

Anny and Robert Springs: Expecting Their First Child Together!

Last year, Robert and Anny were married on 90 Day Fiance despite a lot of friction, some secrets, and very little time together.

Now, they have a huge announcement: they are expecting their very first child together!

Anny took to Instagram to share the amazing news with her fans and followers.

“I feel so happy and fortunate to share the arrival of my baby,” Anny writes in the caption of a photo of the ultrasound.

She then refers to her first child as “my gift from God.”

You can really feel Anny’s excitement.

“The baby has not been born yet,” Anny affirms, in case anyone was unsure.

But she has already invested a lot of love in her future child.

She writes: “and it’s the most beautiful feeling that I have ever felt.”

Anny is really gushing here. It’s a beautiful thing to see.

“It fills me with joy to know that I’ll have someone to fight for,” Anny expresses.

“And,” she writes, to “give the best of myself to.”

“I wait for him or her with lots of emotion,” Anny’s post concludes.

You can see the image that she included for yourself:

Interestingly, Anny makes no mention of Robert in the announcement, even though he is reportedly the father.

(He is also, you know, her husband; they’ve been on Pillow Talk together and are expected to appear on Self-Quarantined later this month)

This may be so that she and Robert can address the news as a couple, together, on this very special spinoff.

As we reported, stars will be broadcasting from their own homes while sheltering in place during this global pandemic.

This will be Anny’s first child.

This will actually be Robert’s sixth child.

Robert’s 5-year-old son, Bryson, is the child who lives with him — he was featured on the show.

Bryson quickly became attached to Anny, even months before she and Robert tied the knot.

Robert previously described his experience as a single father.

“It’s not hard at all,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.

“The only thing I can say that’s a little challenging [is] when I need to work,” he expressed.

“And,” Robert noted, “I don’t have someone to take care of my kid, like my immediate family because they’re in Brooklyn.”

As 90 Day Fiance fans have observed, a lot of couples end up fizzling out — particularly those who have not yet initiated the K-1 visa process.

It’s not that the K-1 visa process is some sort of magic glue that binds relationships together.

Rather, it just costs a lot of money to move someone to the US, in terms of applications and fees and also being able to support them.

But Anny and Robert are taking things to a whole new step by having a child together. They are certainly not the first couple to do so.

We are sure that little Bryson is excited about becoming a big brother.

Five-year-olds (and he may be six by now) are at an age where they can truly appreciate what that means.

We are excited for this entire family and their new journey.
