Spoilers: Marlon kicks Ellis out in Emmerdale over Al's murder revelation

Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) has been a shell of his former self in Emmerdale after being sentenced to prison for a crime he didn’t commit, and now that he’s out, he’s come to realise that several villagers had information that could’ve freed him from his captivity — and it was old nemesis Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) who felt his wrath during tonight’s double-bill, as did Ellis (Aaron Chapman).

Marlon was horrified during last night’s episode when he realised that Charity (Emma Atkins) stole Graham’s (Andrew Scarborough) money on the night in which he died, as this information could’ve resulted in him being freed from prison sooner, and yet she kept shtum.

However, it wasn’t the only discovery he made, as Andrea (Anna Nightingale) alerted Rhona (Zoe Henry) about her having discovered that Kim (Claire King) had put out a hit on Graham, and thus Rhona later relayed this information to Marlon.

As a result, Kim was arrested by the police for conspiring to murder Graham, and — during tonight’s double-bill — the plot thickened, as Al was subsequently — not to mention very, very publicly — arrested on the same grounds, after Kim revealed to the police that it was he who she’d paid on the day in question.

Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) later informed Marlon about what had transpired, and he was horrified.

He wasted little time in heading up to Hawksford, and confronted his former nemesis, before delivering a thunderous right hook — knocking Al over his own desk.

Marlon berated him for being so cruel — reminding him that he could’ve gone down for life, and yet Al’s information could’ve got him out of prison.

With Al having revealed all to Ellis seconds before, Marlon was hoping that he would shop his dad to the police, but — when it came down to it — he was ultimately unable to do, and therefore Marlon kicked him out.

Will Marlon see sense and let Elis stay?

Or is this really the end of the road for the pair’s relationship?

Charlotte Hawkins accused of being hungover on Good Morning Britain

Charlotte Hawkins has been accused of rocking up to Good Morning Britain with a major hangover after spending Thursday night partying at the 2020 global awards.

The TV starlet joined Kate Garraway at the VIP bash in central London to cerebrate the biggest and best artists in music.

Kicking off Good Morning Britain at 6am on Friday, Charlotte put on a brave face as she hosted the ITV breakfast show.

Admitting she was sleep deprived, Charlotte admitted to viewers she was "sleepy" as she hosted the first 30 minutes of the show solo.

As she cut to Richard Arnold for the entertainment news, the soap guru could be smirking.

'The Bachelor' Why Savannah Mullins Wishes She Wasn't 'Scared to Talk to' Victoria Fuller

This season of The Bachelor certainly has had its fair share of interesting contestants. But, perhaps none were as polarizing as Victoria Fuller e.g. Victoria F. Hailing from Virginia Beach, Fuller captured Peter Weber’s attention right from the beginning. But, while Weber seemed to be enamored with her fiery personality, Bachelor Nation wasn’t completely sold. Fuller’s relationship with Weber was nothing short of tumultuous, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

A quick recap of Victoria Fuller’s time on The Bachelor 2020

Rumors about Fuller’s character and past began swirling before The Bachelor even aired. Reality Steve reported that many people had made accusations that she’d broken up several marriages in the past. Furthermore, it came to light that Fuller had modeled for a company that used white supremacy phrasing and received a DUI prior to her time on the show. On-screen, Fuller wasn’t faring too much better. She had a particularly nasty confrontation with Alayah Benavidez, was in constant spats with Weber, was surprised by her alleged ex-boyfriend, Chase Rice, and was confronted about the “homewrecker” rumors on her hometown date.

But, despite all of the drama, Fuller made it all the way to the final three. Weber chose to believe her side of things over his ex-girlfriend, Merissa Pence, and they began to talk through the poor communication in their relationship. What’s more, many fans of The Bachelor felt that Fuller redeemed herself during the Women Tell All after apologizing for some of her less than acceptable behavior and denying all claims that she’d broken up marriages.

Fuller reflects on her relationship with Peter Weber

On March 3, 2020, Fuller took to her Instagram page to reflect more about her time on The Bachelor and to thank Weber for his patience. “Pete— Thank you. Thank you for teaching me about myself, even when I didn’t want to know. Or when it was unpleasant. But most of all teaching me that I’m worth it. Thank you for always pushing me to get to the root cause & never judging me along the way. You showed me what kindness truly is. What patience means in a relationship. You showed me the definition of a good thing. & you showed me that I can be loved unapologetically with all my flaws. For that I am forever grateful for you,” Fuller began.

The Virginia Beach native continued on to send best wishes to the bachelor ahead of his finale. “I’m excited to see where life takes you & I have all the respect in the world for you. You’re doing great sweetie. Cheers xx,” she wrote. Fuller’s post was fairly well received. It quickly garnered over 100,000 likes and fans and fellow contestants were quick to show her love and support. One fellow castmate that stood out was Savannah Mullins. Mullins shared that she wished she would’ve taken the opportunity to get to know Fuller sooner because she now knew her to be extremely kind-hearted.

Fellow cast member, Savannah Mullins shows her love on Instagram

“I wish I wouldn’t have been so scared to talk to you at first because once I did you were nothing but so ridiculously kind to me and I saw what a beautiful heart you had. Easily one of the most hilarious, witty, and beautiful women that have ever been on this show. Your grace and strength through this process has been incredible and I really admire you for all of it. You’re worth it x a million VF! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for you💜,” Mullins wrote about her Bachelor castmate.

Fuller seemed incredibly moved by Mullins’ comment and responded in kind. “Aw sav♥️♥️ this is so sweet. Literally brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much. It means more than you’ll ever know. I can’t wait to see what this world has in store for US. The future is so bright & I’m so happy you’re apart of mine,” she wrote back. It’s clear that no matter how Bachelor Nation may feel about Fuller, most of her castmates turned friends truly have her back. Only time will tell if she joins the cast of Bachelor in Paradise this summer and is able to convince the rest of the skeptics.

‘The Daily Show With Trevor Noah’ Talks About The Job The Presidential Candidates Couldn’t Get

Trevor Noah started his monologue by airing the complaints of Elizabeth Warren on sexism in her race for the Democratic presidential nomination. “She has a good point,” Noah said, noting that a woman is faced with two choices in discussing the allegation – to be either viewed as a whiner if they acknowledge it, or someone living on another planet if they ignore it.

Noah said that’s not fair, “Especially since the President is already a whiner who lives on another planet.”

He also noted that a Democratic race that started out with a broad array of candidates is now strangely down to two old white men in Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, with 73-year-old incumbent Donald Trump as the youngest person in the race.

“There’s no other job where they would be the top candidates,” said Noah. Even a Life Alert commercial wouldn’t take them, he claimed. “You guys don’t look like you’re young enough to save. We’re kind of going for someone healthier.”

Heidi Klum Dishes on Sofia Vergara's First Day of Filming 'AGT'

Heidi Klum couldn’t be happier to be back on America’s Got Talent — and work with Sofia Vergara!

ET’s Lauren Zima caught up with the supermodel at the AGT season 15 kickoff at Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Wednesday, where she dished on working with the Modern Family star.

“It’s been amazing! We’ve only filmed one day so far and on the first day she was like, ‘I’m really nervous. I don’t wanna do anything wrong,'” Klum recalled. “And I said to her, ‘You cannot do anything wrong. You just speak your truth. You just say what you just saw, if you like it and if you don’t, and if you just elaborate on that, that’s it. The nice thing is you don’t have to memorize any text. You know because on Modern Family, I’m sure she has to do pages and pages of memorizing. We don’t have to memorize anything. We have no ear [piece]. There’s no one talking to us in our ear. You see it and you speak what you thought of it.”

Vergara joins Klum, as well as Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel, as judges for the next season. So what kind of judge will the Colombian actress be? Will she be as tough as Cowell?

“I’m excited to see what’s gonna happen on that side of the desk,” Klum said. “I’m now sitting next to Howie, and Howie is chatty. So it’s gonna be very hard for me to focus, already I’m distracted very easily.”

Klum also confirmed that Vergara already gave an act a Golden Buzzer on the first day. “Sofia, can you believe this? First day, she just went for it. I was like, ‘Kudos to you, Sofia Vergara,'” Klum shared. “She just went straight for it. She’s not messing around. See for me, it’s always, like, if I have a second thought then I just won’t do it. If I have it in my gut, and I’m like, yes, I go straight for it.”

As for how Klum is feeling about returning to the judges’ seat, she admitted it “didn’t take much convincing. I’m like, ‘I’m back!'”

“I’m super excited that I was asked to come back. I mean, it’s so amazing! America’s Got Talent! It’s definitely more fun being in the auditorium than watching it from at home,” she expressed. “I just love sitting in that seat, I love having that power of the button.”

“I missed everyone here because it’s just so much fun,” she continued. “I do a lot of television. I have to say this is right up [there] because of the variety aspect. I love that. I also love that you never know who comes next, you know? It can be anyone.”

ET also chatted with Vergara about joining the competition show. “I never, in my life, expected to do something like this,” Vergara confessed. “It seemed like the right thing to do after 11 years of Modern Family to mix it up.”

Fans confused as blonde dancer who ‘Maura accused of cheating with Curtis’ is cut out of group pic by AJ’s girlfriend – The Sun

AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has got fans talking after she shared a picture of herself with the Strictly dancer and his brother Curtis – but cut the fourth person with them out.

The image was taken when the trio went to the theatre last month with stunning blonde Amber Pierson – the dancer Maura accused Curtis of cheating with.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted that Amber was absent from the snap and questioned Abbie’s decision to leave her out.

One person wrote: “Amber missing from the picture – she was with ye that night double dating!”

While another person wrote: “It wasn’t only the three of you that went there. Amber went too.”

Someone replied: “She don’t want to post it because it would confirm the cheating rumours.”

The Sun Online previously revealed that Curtis had grown close to blonde bombshell Amber, a fellow professional dancer.

We reported how Maura confronted Curtis over claims he had cheated before their split.

The alarm was raised when Maura, 29, was tagged in a tweet that said the ballroom dancer, 24, had been "hugging and kissing" a blonde beauty from his live tour with Strictly sibling AJ.

Writing from an anonymous account, the tweet stated the Curtis had got up close and personal with Amber Pierson on Saturday night when Maura was partying elsewhere with friends.

It said: "Curtis and Maura are definitely not together. They are at different night clubs. Curtis is with the dance crew and is hugging and kissing amberpierson"

Following the tweet, Maura announced the couple had split in an emotional post to fans on Instagram – but not before having it out with Curtis.

A source said: "After their separate nights out on Saturday, Maura tried to text Curtis but he didn't reply. He called her instead and said it wasn't true.

"It wasn't enough for Maura so they came to a mutual decision to end their relationship."

Better Things Season 4 Premiere Recap: Driving Through 'Steady Rain'

Pamela Adlon’s critically acclaimed FX series, Better Things, is back for its fourth season once again showcasing the fluidity of familial relationships. Themes from last season carry over — from Sam’s struggle to raise three daughters as a single mom, to her mother Phyl’s declining health — but as usual, it’s about riding the wave no matter how choppy it gets.

Seconds into the premiere, we’re reminded how poignant this show’s music is (the track used here is Warren Zevon’s “Steady Rain,” which is also the episode title). The cinematography is also on point as the camera swoops throughout Sam’s nearly empty house as she sleeps off her previous day. Better Things has always been a love child of Adlon’s, and it’s crystal clear how much love and attention is put into every detail.

Sam and Gran arrive at the airport to pick up Frankie and Duke from a trip visiting their father. The girls sweetly missed their mom, but as soon as she’s called “baby,” Frankie turns sour. The moment of tender love ends as the kids pile into the car, leaving Sam on the sidewalk to load their suitcases. They don’t even tip her. How rude!

We learn that Phyl is wearing a cardiac vest which is extremely uncomfortable for her. We flash back to a heart attack she experienced, and Sam rushing her to the hospital. Phyl’s ordered to wear a personal defibrillator for a few months. A physical and mental deterioration? It could be a bumpy season for Gran.

After Phyl yells a string of expletives at another car, Sam is irked — road rage is “for the driver, if she so chooses!” Phyl then leans over and lays on the horn. Sam pulls over and kicks her out, because hey, the defibrillator will shock her heart if something bad happens, plus, there’s even a GPS if she gets lost. Once Phyl storms off, Sam does her best Willy Wonka impression to get her to return: “Come back. Stop. Don’t. Turn around.” When the stubborn lady refuses, Sam pulls away (which is a little harsh. It’s raining after all, and we all know how Californians feel about rain). Nevertheless, the girls force Sam to go back and collect the ol’ bag.

The next day, Frankie tells Sam she wants a huge birthday party, which is a big deal for the moody teen. Specifically she wants a quinceañera, but Sam says they’re too white for that. Frankie says it’s not cultural appropriation, it’s cultural appreciation. Regardless, Sam says she’s “too Jewish” for one. The real  kicker, though: Frankie wants her dad invited. “You have to, it’s part of it… sorry, not sorry.” Sam begrudgingly agrees. Frankie’s rougher edges seem to be smoothing out, but she still has steadfast conviction. Sam certainly has her work cut out with that one.

Rich breaks up with his boyfriend and Duke gives him the advice of someone 10 times her age. “You’ll find love again… and if you put the work in now, you’ll be better in the long run. And later, when you meet someone, they’ll be better for you because you’ll be better then, too.” She really should consider a career in therapy. That’s the kind of support we all need.

n the night’s second episode, Sam’s minivan is stolen from a mechanic’s lot, and she’s not-so-secretly happy about it. She goes car shopping and takes out an electric car as a loaner, but when it runs out of juice, she meets a man with an El Camino to sell. “How bad is it for the environment?” she asks. “Really bad,” he replies. It doesn’t matter: she’s in love.

Sam gets news that her old show, Ching of the Mill, is being rebooted and she takes a meeting to discuss reprising her voice role. She’s beyond pumped since she needs the cash, but the new producers want her to read for it even though she played the character for 10 years. “Gee, I hope I get my own part!” she exclaims on her way out.

When Sam returns home, she finds that her girls bought a chinchilla (with Sam’s credit card, of course), and she freaks. There’s no way in hell she wants an oversized rodent living in her house, so back to the pet store they go. When the girls walk outside and see the new whip, Frankie says, “Mom, this car doesn’t fit all of us.” “I know,” Sam says with a smile on her face.

At the store, Sam receives word that the reboot is moving forward with the entire original cast… except for her. Instead, they’re replacing her with the voice of a dead guy. (Hooray, technology!) “It just wasn’t the right fit,” her friend says. “It was the right fit for a decade,” opines Sam.

To make Sam’s day even worse, the store won’t take the chinchilla back, but she does pick up another new family member. “Welcome to my midlife crisis!” she screams on her way out of the store, with a white snake draped around her shoulders. “I think we should call her Betty White,” she says as she and Max pile into the El Camino.
