Abbey Clancy has spoken of working hard to ‘set a good example’ for her kids as she juggles mum duties with her demanding work schedule.
The 34-year-old model mum, who has four children with her footballer husband Peter Crouch, 39, opened up to OK! magazine about facing the choice to go back to work during motherhood.
“I feel like it’s important to set a good example for them. I want to work and still be me while being the best mum I can be,” she said during her interview.
The blonde bombshell, who has recently been working on her fourth collection with Lipsy, admitted that she felt ‘mum guilt’ just like any mother in a similar situation.
“I think for any mum who has to or chooses to go to work, you still get stuck with that mum guilt.”
Abbey also explained that she is still trying to ‘figure out’ the dynamic of being a working mum-of-four.
The couple are doting parents to Sophia, eight, and Liberty, four, and Johnny, two, and nine-month-old Jack.
With her children ranging up to the age of eight, she has tried to split up her kid’s activities but also found that there are some family outings they can all enjoy together.
“It’s a juggle, but I feel like we do it quite well, and we’re often all together doing something fun, like going to the farm,” the Scouse lass continued.
On top of parenting duties, the model mum also explained that she tried to find time alone with hubby Peter, with trips to the cinema and watching live music, but are sometimes just too tired out by their four young children.
Abbey recently jetted out to South Africa to take part in a stunning photoshoot ahead of her Lipsy clothing collection release this week.
The sensational collection features several statement dresses as well as a number of stunning tops. During the shoot, the native Northerner showed off her svelte figure as she posed up a storm on the work trip.
“Never underestimate the power of a good dress & the woman who wears it,” she wrote on Instagram earlier this week as she promoted the launch of the fabulous collection.
