Carol Kirkwood teases ‘no limitations’ and ‘secrets’ in move away from BBC Breakfast
BBC Breakfast weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, 57, has signed a deal for two novels with HarperCollins, with her books set to be filled with “love, scandal and secrets”. Her debut book will be released next year.
As we all know, an unleashed imagination has no limitations!

The BBC regular has said her new venture will be “an unleashed imagination with no limitations”.
She told The Bookseller: “I am delighted to be working with HarperCollins.
“They are such an enthusiastic, professional and fun publisher who have made me feel at home right from the start.
“This is my first foray into writing and I could not wish for a better partnership and look forward to it being a lasting one!

The weather expert shared the news about her upcoming book in view of her 170,000 followers.
A tweet from The Bookseller read: “@HarperCollinsUK storms in for @BBC weather presenter @carolkirkwood’s first two novels! Her début, billed as “full of love, scandal and secrets” will publish in 2021, ready for your summer reading list.”
One of her fans commented: “Carol Kirkwood’s uplifting outlook could not be more desperately needed right now. Bring us sunshine @carolkirkwood @katebradleySW6 @LizDawsonPR!”
She replied: “Thanks Lynne,” with a blowing a kiss emoji.
Back in June, Carol surprised her co-stars as she teased her new writing venture live on the show.

The weather presenter made the admission as her co-stars Dan Walker, 42, Louise Minchin, 50 and former host Steph McGovern discussed books on the show.
The latter then turned the the weather star and insisted she would be a good voice for an audio book.
“Her voice is gorgeous,” Steph said of the weather presenter. “You’d have her read anything, wouldn’t you?”
Dan then asked her: “Carol if you had to write a book, what would you write it about? I know we’re putting you on the spot here…”

She replied: “Actually, I am going to be writing a book and it’s fiction, so watch this space.”
Fishing for more details, Dan went on to say: “Hold on a minute, forget the weather Carol, when’s this coming out? When can we look forward to this?”
She replied: “Well not for a while because I haven’t started it yet but it will probably come out later this year or maybe next year.”
