Derek Acorah’s wife continues posting from his Twitter two months after death

Derek Acorah's wife Gwen is continuing to post from his Twitter account, after the TV medium died in January.

The Most Haunted star died at the age of 69 on January 4 following a brief eillness.

His wife Gwen announced the news on Derek's official Twitter page, adding: "Farewell my love! I will miss you forever!"

Since Derek's death, devoted Gwen has kept his social media up to date with musings and pictures of her late husband.

She has changed the profile picture to a snap of Derek dressed in a smart white shirt and switched up the banner to an image of a sky with the caption 'Guarded by ANGELS."

Today she share a snap of Derek enjoying a cup of tea and wrote: "Good morning! Have a great Wednesday xGx"

Gwen also took the time to give a sassy response to a troll who accused Derek of 'giving mediums a bad name by faking it.'

Tweeting from Derek's official account – which boasts 32,000 followers – Gwen shared an illustration of her hubby with the caption: "Congratulations that comment deserves the Acorah award for daftness."

Last month she shared a photo of Derek at the beach and told fans: "Have a great Saturday all!"

While Gwen was sent dozens of messages of support in response, one Twitter user replied: "This is really strange…"

TV producer Gwen previously hinted that her husband was bullied by cruel trolls in the weeks before his death.

She posted to Facebook: "To the vile couple who hounded him for responses to their ridiculous campaign whilst he was in Intensive Care in a coma, I hope you have the decency to hang your heads in shame.

"I have things to deal with now but I won’t forget nor will I forgive what you have done!"

Gwen was married to Derek for 24 years and the couple share two children together.

In January, Gwen broke the news that her much-loved hubby had died after a short battle with pneumonia which led to a sepsis infectoin.

"He was taken really quickly. It was pneumonia which got him in the end.

"He developed sepsis and was in intensive care. I'm heartbroken to have lost him.

"It's devastating that's he's gone," she told The Sun.

In a tribute posted to Facebook , Gwen shared: "Farewell my love! I will miss you forever!

"I’m devastated to announce that my beloved husband Derek has passed away after a very brief illness.

"Thank you so much to everybody who has supported me – I can never thank you enough."
