Prince William and Queen Elizabeth had their second public reunion since March during a visit with the royal family at Windsor Castle on Tuesday night (December 8) in Windsor, England.
The gathering between Prince William, Duchess Kate Middleton, and other royal family members was held to thank local volunteers and key workers from organizations and charities in Berkshire, who will be volunteering or working to help others over the Christmas period.
At the end of the event, before departing, Prince William turned to his grandmother while standing a socially distanced six feet apart from each other and apparently said, “Bye Gran.”
“At the end of the performance, featuring O Little Town of Bethlehem, the Queen, who could be seen singing along, chatted to her family and as she turned to walk up the steps back inside the castle, William could be heard to say: ‘Bye gran,’” DailyMail reporter Rebecca English tweeted.
Prince William and Duchess Kate just wrapped their three day train tour and it was reported they were sleeping in separate beds. Find out why.
