Inside newly-engaged Jess Wright’s turbulent romances before she found The One

Jess Wright has found her Prince Charming in the shape of blond hunk William Lee-Kemp in a proposal that caught her off guard.

The former TOWIE star, 34, showed off her impressive rock on Instagram as she announced her engagement to the world. She wrote: "A million times YES! I love you so much x."

They've been a couple for just over a year and shared their relationship last year after Jess made the effort to keep William a secret.

Since the proposal, Jess told Hello: "I am absolutely overwhelmed with this amazing news. I never expected it for a second and he caught me totally off guard.

"We are so very happy and in love!"

Jess received a romantic proposal and in an idyllic location in the French Alps – but her love life hasn't always been smooth sailing.

Here we take a look back at her past relationships, including some big names…

Giovanni Pernice

2018 saw Jess go public with Strictly pro Giovanni – who's since gone on to have a relationship with Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.

Both Jess and Giovanni uploaded snaps of them kissing – sending a pretty clear message that they were an item.

Still, it wasn't to be, and the pair split amid reports that the Italian dancer found the amount of attention Jess received difficult to handle.

A source told The Sun at the time: "He was really into Jess and did want to make a go of it, but he struggled with the attention she gets and her popularity."

They called it quits after five months of dating.

Ricky Rayment

Ricky was the TOWIE cast newbie back in 2012.

The handsome then-21 year old soon won the affection of 26 year old Jess, and the turbulent relationship that followed lasted two and a half years.

In 2014, they went through a messy split after Jess found flirty messages that he'd sent to other girls.

After their split, Jess told her pals that the reason for their split wasn't his age – and that she'd even heard a rumour he was intending to pop the question.

Ricky has since opened up to Lizzie Cundy about their romance, saying: "I was young and stupid and made a few mistakes."

Pete Wicks

This one had fans scratching their heads as they reckoned a romance between Jess and the long-haired Lothario was on the cards – but it wasn't to be.

Pete admitted that while they flirted a lot, there wasn't an "extra spark" that would've made them a couple.

He told OK! that they'll always be pals, even after she left the show.

Lewis Bloor

Another TOWIE co-star, fans weren't quite sure what to make of Lewis and Jess' flirting.

After they had shared a kiss, Lewis told Lydia Bright that he hadn't kissed her and that it was Jess who had instigated it.

Luke Pasqualino

Handsome Luke is the Our Girl co-star of Jess' sister-in-law Michelle Keegan – Michelle is married to Jess' brother Mark.

A source told The Sun that they went on a number of dates but Jess thought he was a "player" and ditched him.

They said: "They both tried to keep their romance under wraps but it didn't take long before she saw through him and pulled the plug."
