Kobe Bryant’s Widow Vanessa to Amend His Trust in Favor of Baby Daughter

According to a new report, the widow of the late NBA star, who died in a helicopter crash back in January, has filed legal documents to get a judge amend her late husband’s trust.

AceShowbiz -Following the death of husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna in January, Vanessa Bryant has the responsibility to make sure that all three of her daughters’ well-being are taken care of. According to a new report, she has filed legal documents to get a judge amend her late husband’s trust.

TMZ stated on Wednesday, March 18 that Vanessa wants a change after noticing that their eighth-month-old daughter Capri isn’t included in his will. The news outlet revealed that the NBA legend enacted the trust back in 2003.

The couple had amended the document over the years with the birth of their daughters. However, it seemed like Kobe passed away before he and his wife could add Capri’s name to the trust.

The trust agreement allegedly suggests that Vanessa, her 17-year-old daughter Natalia and her three-year-old daughter Bianka “can draw from the principal and income in the trust during Vanessa’s lifetime, and then her kids get the remainder upon her death.”

This arrives after someone reportedly was arrested last week for digging the burial site in Newport Beach that is believed to be belonging to the late basketball legend and his daughter. The man, who appears to be disrupted, was said to be sneaking onto the private grave site, which is located at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California, last week.

Wearing knee pads and carrying equipment, he peeled back the grass and used tools to dig fairly deep into the ground. It’s unknown though if the man reached any of the deceased’s coffins.

In a photo obtained by MTO News, the man is seen being handcuffed while sitting on the ground with an officer taking records of him. Other photos, meanwhile, show the burial site, with what appeared to be rectangular cutting marks seen through the grass, as the result of the illegal digging.
