Taylor Swift is not going to share her feelings about that leaked phone call with Kanye West, but she’s referencing it while trying to do some good.
The 30-year-old singer took to her Instagram Stories on Monday afternoon (March 23) and acknowledged the existence of the leaked video while calling for fans to donate to Feeding America.
“Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years)… SWIPE UP to see what really matters,” Taylor wrote on her story.
Fans who swiped up on the post were led to a Feeding America donation page.
“The World Health Organization and Feeding America are some of the organizations I’ve been donating to,” Taylor added. “If you have the ability to, please join me in donating during this crisis.”
Back in 2016, Kanye called Taylor on the phone to ask her to launch his song “Famous,” in which she was referenced. While she asked to hear what he was going to say about her, he failed to mention that he was going to call her a b-tch in the song.
You can now read the full transcript of the phone call.
