- Georgia-May Davis was on a flight from Sydney to Queenstown recently
- While she was sitting in her seat an in-flight message popped up on her screen
- It was ‘Chad’ from seat 4C looking to know where she was staying in resort town
- Georgia-May ended up blocking Chad’s advances before answering him
An Australian actress was astonished on a recent flight to find a stranger messaging her inappropriately through the in-flight chat system.
Georgia-May Davis, who lives in Sydney, was flying on Air New Zealand to Queenstown on a ski trip when she noted a message pop up on her entertainment screen sent from ‘Chad’ in seat 4C towards the front of the plane.
The first text was innocent enough – asking her how she was – to which she replied ‘lol good’.

But after her reply he escalated the conversation to ask where she was staying when they landed in the ski resort town, followed by ‘I’m tryna hit’.
He suggested she come down to his seat number so the pair could get to know each other better but Georgia-May decided to block ‘Chad’ instead.
‘You lost me at Chad,’ the video caption read.
Many of the actress’ followers were surprised by Chad’s boldness on board, while others were surprised you could even instant message people on a flight.
‘I didn’t even know this was a thing,’ one person wrote.
‘He wanted to access the Mile High Club,’ another viewer added.
In a bizarre turn of events Georgia-May received a message from her ex-boyfriend, also named Chad, after sharing the video, who was questioning whether it was about him.
‘Hey! Been a minute… Saw your TikTok! I know it’s about me. Please delete. It’s not funny Georgia-May,’ He wrote.
She responded: ‘Hey, two years to be exact. There’s more than one Chad lol.’
She explained in the comments section of her second video: ‘For context: once the seat chat Tiktok with a random Chad on the plane went viral, my EX BF Chad messaged me after two years of not speaking.’
Georgia-May played Lauren Rose in the 2021 series Dive Club.
