The long-awaited 2020 FIFA European Championships is finally taking place kicking off tonight and in light of the celebrations, Byron, the maverick burger restaurant, has announced something new.
The launch is a stadium street food inspired special called the 'Dribble Burger' and it's available from today, until the end of the games (July 11).
Eager Brits can get their hands on the newest addition to the squad at 21 Byron restaurants nationwide, tucking into the sloppy delight for just £14.95, with bottomless fries. You can also enjoy the new addition with bottomless skin-on fries and a Byron Lager or IPA, for just £17.95 – so that's your match day meal sorted then?
The Dribble Burger is available for eat-in, Deliveroo and collection, the ultimate hat-trick.
The Dribble Burger comprises not one but two of Byron’s extra juicy 6oz Beef patties. It's then layered with melted cheddar, oozing american cheese, salted grilled onions and Byron’s special sauce – how delicious does that sound?
The burger is encased in a football shaped, artisan bun to please the crowds. There's even a suitable option for vegetarian football fans. Diners can swap for a Beyond Meat plant-based patty, served with all of the appropriate trimmings.
Richard Danks, Byron Brand Director comments: “We know how much the nation has been looking forward to The Euros, and are delighted to mark the occasion with a nostalgic burger to celebrate. Whatever the score, you’re sure to get the sweet taste of victory with a bite of The Dribble.”
Diners heading to Byron can also take advantage of Byron’s ‘5 a Side Offer’ from June 11. It’s simple, order five burgers and get 5 beers on the house – giving you even more ways to celebrate over the month.
