Heavy downpours and coastal gales set to cause travel chaos
After a brief respite in the weather, the UK is bracing itself for more wet and windy weather.
Two yellow warnings are in force and today is set to bring more rain and drizzle to the north and west of the country.
The Met Office is warning that heavy downpours and snow melt could lead to travel disruption.
Coastal gales are also forecast.
While eastern areas may be treated to a bright if chilly start to the weekend, most of the UK is set to be grey and cloudy.

The rain and winds are then due to strengthen in the north west, with heavy and persistent rain due over north Wales, Cumbria and western Scotland.
In the evening, rain is set to sweep southeast throughout the rest of England.
Heavy showers are expected across Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and north-west England.
This has led the Environment Agency to issue 33 flood warnings for England, with 124 flood alerts.
63 previously issued flood warnings are no longer in force.
The poor weather is expected to clear on Sunday, with sunny spells and scattered showers, particularly in western areas.
However, a second spell is set to hit Britons on Monday, when wet and windy weather is set to spread to all parts of the country.

Rain sweeping southeast to affect the rest of England, followed by blustery heavy showers across Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and western England.

Rain clearing the far southeast during the morning. Elsewhere, sunny spells and blustery showers, heaviest in the west with a risk of thunder. Feeling cold in the wind.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday
After a dry, chilly start on Monday, wet and windy weather spreads to all parts. This clears Tuesday to leave it colder with showers, some of these heavy and wintry.
