Man Utd leading transfer race for Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria with Liverpool also keen – The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED are winning the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria, according to reports.

But the Red Devils reportedly face competition from Liverpool in their bid to land the 23-year-old.

The holding midfielder has played nearly 100 times for the Bundesliga side since he signed from Young Boys in Switzerland in 2017.

United are keen to land a star in the centre of the park with question marks remaining over the future of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.
