Let’s take a look at everything we know about Amy ahead of her DOI debut…

Who is Amy Tinkler?

Amy Tinkler is a 21 year old British artistic gymnast who hails from Bishop Auckland.

The beautiful blonde won bronze for floor exercising at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro while representing Great Britain.

She was also part of the bronze-medal-winning GB team at the 2015 World Championships in Glasgow.

The star was the youngest member of Team GB at just 16, and she’s become the second British woman, after Beth Tweddle, to win a gymnastics medal in Olympics history.

Amy retired from competing in 2020 after an injury caused her to pull out of the Commonwealth Games team in 2018.

As well as this, it was revealed last year that Amy had “negative experiences” in the sport, and that British Gymnastics had left her “out to dry.”

Complaints were reportedly ignored and investigations closed without informing Amy personally.
