Why have Bayern Munich suspended Sadio Mane? | The Sun

SENEGALESE sensation Sadio Mane has been SUSPENDED by Bayern Munich which adds to his nightmare start representing the Bavarians.

Mane, 31, made the switch from Anfield to the Allianz Arena last summer after winning every trophy possible in English football with Liverpool.

But a mixture of injuries and minimal game time has halted his career at Bayern.

And the African Cup of Nations winner is set to face more time on the sidelines due to his recent actions.

Why have Bayern Munich suspended Sadio Mane?

Tempers flared after Bayern Munich's crushing defeat to Manchester City between Mane and Leroy Sane according to German outlet Bild.

It is claimed Mane, 31, was left fuming after an on-field argument with Sane and allegedly punched the ex-City star in the mouth.

The rumoured scuffle is believed to have left Sane with a marked lip and the winger was later seen trying to cover his face as he left the Etihad.

And things got worse for Mane as the club have no revealed that the former Liverpool man will now be fined for his bust-up with Sane.

Reports from The Mirror suggest that Mane was dealing with a death in his family prior to the horrific trip to Manchester.
