Baker creates Caramilk CUPCAKES – stuffed with white chocolate truffle and topped with buttercream icing dipped in melted caramel

Chocolate lovers are racing to buy trays of Caramilk cupcakes from a countryside bakery in New South Wales.
The treats, which were created by self-taught baker ‘Cakes by Kyla’, have been flying off shelves since launching at her store in Gosford last week.
Flavoured with Cadbury’s best-selling caramelised white chocolate, the ‘Caramilk Deluxe’ is a mudcake stuffed with white chocolate truffle, dipped in vanilla buttercream and topped with melted Caramilk and miniature salted caramel balls.
Photos of the cakes, which have amassed 515 ‘likes’ since they were uploaded to Facebook on February 24, have set mouths watering across Australia.

The response was so immediate that Kyla, who describes herself as the ‘cupcake boss’, revealed she sold four dozen – her entire daily stock – in just 45 minutes.
‘Omg they look amazing. Not sure why you are surprised how quick they sell out!’ one woman wrote on Facebook.
‘My favourite, absolutely scrumptious,’ added a second, while a third tagged her friend and said: ‘I need one of these right now.’
Others begged Kyla to open a bakery in Sydney to save them the 83 kilometre drive north, while one woman asked: ‘Can you deliver to Queensland, pretty please?’
And they’re not the only cupcakes delighting customers at Kyla’s bakery.
Other top-selling flavours include vanilla and maple bacon, black forest and Iced Vovo, inspired by the much-loved Arnott’s biscuit.
Kyla also bakes sweets suitable for those with dietary requirements.
One man said the gluten-free lemon slice he bought in February was ‘extra delicious’.
Cakes by Kyla is open from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 12pm on Saturday.
