DUGGAR fans heap praise on Jinger and her husband Jeremy for “letting their daughter wear pants” despite the family’s strict dress code.
The 27-year-old regularly wears clothes that go against her parents' conservative sartorial choices and appears to be letting her kids choose their own way, too.
Jinger and Jeremy, 33, have two children – Felicity, two, and baby Evangeline, six months.
Former football player Jeremy shared a cute snap of him and his eldest crossing the road in co-ordinating outfits with his 696,000 Instagram followers.
Taken from behind to protect his daughter's privacy, little Felicity looked adorable with a red bow in her hair, white T-shirt and denim pants.
Jeremy captioned the shot: "God gives good gifts."
While many of his fans flocked to gush over how adorable the photo was, one pointed out how great it was to see Felicity wearing pants.
They wrote: "Amen. Also nice to see you let your daughter wear pants👏👏👏"
Jinger is no stranger to going against the grain and making her own fashion choices, despite her parents strict and conservative views on the matter.
The Counting On star recently opened up about "struggling" with her parents – Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar – over her decision to go against their wardrobe rules, including wearing pants.
In her new book The Hope We Hold: Finding Peace in the Promises of God with husband Jeremy, she reflected on why she started defying her parents strict codes.
The 27-year-old wrote: "My mom had always dressed us girls in skirts and dresses, a standard that was taken from Deuteronomy 22:5, which says, 'A woman shall not wear a man's garment,' (ESV) and I never really questioned it."
She continued: "Modesty was a huge topic in our house, and we believed that wearing skirts instead of pants was a central part of being modest. But I wanted to discover for myself what the Bible had to say."
Jinger and Jeremy's new book was published just days after her brother Josh, 33, was arrested for "possessing 65 images of child porn including some toddlers."
Despite being released, he can not live at his home with wife Anna and their six kids.
He's been ordered to reside in a third-party home until his trial on July 6 and will reportedly stay with good friends of his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.
Jinger and her husband are reportedly "horrified and disgusted by the situation."
