And now he has sparked further furore for hitting a Cornwall shore to catch some seabass.
Taking to Instagam, Gordon posed with a fish in each hand and the water glistening behind him.
He tagged coastal fishing village Rock as his location, writing in the caption: "Catch of the day…… 2 beautiful Seabass".
Gordon also proudly shared a video of the fish to his story, gushing about the "beauties" as he prepared to cook them.
However his followers were unimpressed, with one commenting: "I thought we are not allowed to fish due to lockdown?"
Another wrote: "Gordon needs fining."
A third sarcastically added: "Looks like essential work there…"
Some were distracted by the star's achievement, heaping praise as they congratulated him on catching the large fish.
In March, Prime Minister Boris Johnson introduced lockdown rules amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, urging Brits not to leave their house unless it is absolutely essential.
Although fishing can be considered exercise, people were previously encouraged to exercise at home if they can to avoid being outside for prolonged periods of time.
The PM addressed the nation yesterday to reveal a new strategy for the pandemic, which saw the guidelines loosen, however, Gordon's fishing post came before this was broadcast.
Gordon first angered locals when he and his family relocated to their second home in Cornwall, with one of star's neighbours even threatening to call the police about it at the time.
Unfazed, Gordon has gone on to repeatedly spark fury with lengthy bike rides, flouting government guidelines, and even being spotted cycling through a red light.
At the weekend, he and his 21-year-old son Jack were seen stopping for a take-out coffee as they went shopping across Polzeath and Rock for firewood.
Gordon was also previously warned by the coastguard over lockdown breaches, with an insider telling The Sun: "We’ve seen him multiple times in several places."
They explained: "I said, ‘Look, everybody knows who you are and this is ridiculous. You are not following the rules. You need to keep your head down and stay indoors’."
Gordon and his wife Tana share five children together, including Jack's twin sister Holly, 21-year-old Meghan, 17-year-old Tilly, and one-year-old Oscar.
