Hollyoaks Bobbys sinister pal exposed, baby heartbreak and James huge gamble

Hollyoaks favourite Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) makes a huge discovery about her young son Bobby Costello (Jayden Fox) next week.

Confident that Bobby is telling the truth, Mercedes gets defensive as Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter) pokes holes in the story.

Later, tension continues to brew when Theresa finds something disturbing and wants to seek outside help.

Mercedes finds a secret door in their house and Bobby makes a drastic decision.

After no luck finding Mercedes and Bobby,Theresa calls a family meeting.

When backs are turned Olivia Bradshaw (Emily Burnett) takes matters into her own hands, but will the family be able to forgive her?

A voiceover from Mercedes defends Bobby as his sinister online friend is revealed.

When Mercedes asks Bobby about who he’s messaging and his defensiveness makes her suspicious.

Bobby has to think on his feet and his lies start to unravel.

Also, Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) deals with the symptoms of her pregnancy alone as things turn sour between her and Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) because of the scheduling of her first scan.

Cleo McQueen (Nadine Rose Mulkerrin) offers a shoulder to lean on as things get emotional for young mum-to-be Ella.

Leah Barnes (Elá-May Melek Demircan) gives Ella the confidence she needs to give Charlie an ultimatum.

Ella insists on attending her scan without Nancy Osborne or Zara Morgan’s support.

Whilst Cleo accidentally reveals to Charlie that Ella is considering other options, Ella gets some heartbreaking news.

Elsewhere, Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) worries about how he’s going to afford to pay for Lucas’ school trip.

With only one quick solution, will he find the courage to ask for help?

Later, James panics as his luck goes from bad to worse as his gambling spirals out of control.

Finding reason to celebrate, James resorts to an unlikely companion after Ste’s rejection.

Later, his chain of recklessness continues as he decides to spend the night taking risks and bumps into a man called Rafael who takes a shining to him.

After a chaotic night, Ste lends James a shoulder to cry on and he finally lets him.

As he promises to change, James makes a drastic decision that puts all his faith in Ste.

Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first-look episodes on E4 at 7pm
