Love Island star Tommy Fury has emerged as one of the hot favourites to sign up to this year’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

The boxer, who found fame on the ITV2 series alongside girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague, is currently at 3/1, according to the latest odds from bookmaker Betfair.

But he’s not the only famous face in the running to enter this year’s camp after it was confirmed by ITV that the long-running series would once again take place in Wales rather than Australia.

Other stars in the top ten list include Made in Chelsea star and last year’s Strictly Come Dancing finalist Jamie Laing, who comes in at 5/2.

Tommy also has the same odds as with former The One Show host and Countryfile presenter Matt Baker.

While comedian Jack Whitehall is currently at 7/2, with Little Mix singer Jade Thirwall (4/1) and Olympic diver Tom Daley (6/1) trailing slightly behind.

Other names in the frame include Line of Duty’s Kate Fleming actress Vicky McClure who places at 8/1 alongside Made in Chelsea star and reality favourite Sam Thompson.

Further down in the list comes Tom’s diving partner Matty Lee (12/1), outspoken TV host and former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan (20/1) and Team GB swimmer Adam Peaty (25/1).

Speaking about which TV stars we could see getting stuck into trials, Betway’s Chad Yeomans said: “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! filming looks set to remain at Gwrych Castle this year, and we have Countryfile presenter Matt Baker at 3/1 to test out his survival skills.”

The spokesperson continued: “Olympian Adam Peaty joins the presenter in the potential contestants list at 25/1, with Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing currently holding the shortest odds at 5/2.”

This comes after the news that the ITV entertainment series, hosted by Ant and Dec, will return to the historic Gwrych Castle, Abergele in North Wales for the second year running.

Following Giovanna Fletcher being crowned the show’s first ever Queen of the Castle back in November 2020, fans of the show will watch as a brand new batch of celebrities head to Wales.

A spokesperson for ITV said: “We can confirm today that we’ll be returning to Wales for the 2021 series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!”

“We’ve always said we have contingencies in place for the series if the covid situation continued to bring uncertainty, and after a highly successful run at the castle last year we’re pleased that we can return there.”

“I have no doubt the production team will produce another hugely entertaining series.”
