The latest series of Strictly Come Dancing is currently underway and has seen a fresh batch of celebrities taking to the dancefloor in a bid to impress the judges. Each week, the star-studded line-up has fought for their place in the competition, but, who will be taking home the Glitterball trophy this year?

So far, Kaye Adams, Richie Anderson, Matt Goss and James Bye have all been eliminated from the competition.

Countryfile star Hamza Yassin is currently the bookmakers’ favourite to win.

Last weekend, Hamza and his co-stars took to the ballroom floor for Halloween Week.

The show has also seen the stars dancing to a number of themes including Movie Week.

However, since the series began, the show has faced some backlash from viewers who believe the show should end after 20 series because it is “boring”.

While there is no suggestion that the show will come to an end anytime soon, there could be some changes to the show in the next series.

In exclusive odds provided by Ladbrokes, viewers may see a shake-up in the judging panel.

However, the bookies have given Strictly odds of 20/1 to be axed after series 2022.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told Express.co.uk: “Strictly remains a hugely popular show with the British public and while some may think the format’s gone stale, we’d be amazed if it gets canned in the next 12 months.”

He added: “It’s more likely we’ll see a change to the judging panel for the 21st series.”

Ladbrokes also predicted Shirley Ballas could be “sent packing” after some of her controversial feedback to some of the contestants.

With odds of 4/1, the bookies claimed Shirley won’t feature as a judge in the 2023 series.

“We could be set for a sensational Strictly shake-up next series., with Shirley Ballas the latest name likely to be sent packing,” Alex continued.

Last weekend, James was eliminated from the show after all four judges chose to save Fleur East in the dance-off.

It was an emotional moment for the EastEnders star as he broke down in tears.

It is unclear who will leave the competition on Sunday, but according to one expert, Fleur could be at risk yet again.

Body language expert Darren Stanton believes Fleur and Molly Rainford’s difficulty in hiding their emotions could mean they land in the bottom two.

On behalf of Betfair, Darren told Express.co.uk: “I believe Molly and Fleur could be at risk this week.

“Despite being extremely talented, the pair have clearly found it difficult to hide their emotions – especially while getting negative feedback from the judges.

“I think we have seen the limit of what these contestants can show.”

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
