Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe Apparently Bring a "Different Vibe" to 'The Bachelorette' Set

It’s Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s house mansion now! Yep, the two former Bachelorettes are stepping into their new roles as co-hosts for Katie Thurston’s upcoming season. Longtime host Chris Harrison has stepped aside for the time being and the change is being felt on set.

“There were a lot of very last-minute changes,” a source tells Us Weekly about the decision to replace Chris with Tayshia and Kaitlyn this season. “It’s a different vibe. Chris was the glue that holds it together. He’s like the father figure to everybody. He’s someone everybody knows and respects and truly loves.”

Another insider explains how some people behind the scenes aren’t as comfortable on set without Chris. “Some crew have been with him since the beginning so it’s just a weird feeling not having him around after almost 20 years of working with him,” the source says. “People might not realize how involved he is with filming, but he plays a huge role on the show and behind scenes. He’s on set 24/7 and keeps everything together.”

I, for one, am excited to see Tayshia and Kaitlyn guide Katie on her season! Plus, Tay already revealed that Chris is so happy to see her step into his shoes. “Oh my gosh, you guys. What a wild announcement to be made within the last 24 hours,” Tayshia shared on Instagram after the news was released. “I feel so honored to be given the opportunity. I’m just so, so, so happy and I’m so happy that you guys are happy. … It means so much.”

She continued, “The fact that I talked to Chris the other day and he was so kind and congratulated me for being a part of the next season meant the absolute world. With that being said, y’all, let’s freakin’ go.”
