FOR those period drama fans, there's a new series to look forward to this year as ITV's Belgravia hits our screens.

Premiering on Sunday, March 15, 2020 and set in the Victorian era, the new drama is set to showcase a mix of "intrigue and dynamic power struggles."

What is Belgravia about?

Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes is the brains behind Belgravia which delves into London's upper class society life in the 19th Century.

It is also based on Julian Fellowes' novel of the same name.

After accepting an invitation to a ball hosted by the Duchess of Richmond on the eve of the battle of Waterloo, the Trenchards face a series of events which have consequences for decades to come.

Who's in the cast of Belgravia?

The show will feature a star-studded cast:

  • Phillip Glenister plays James Trenchard.
  • Alice Eve stars as Susan Trenchard.
  • Harriet Walter plays Caroline, Countess of Brockenhurst.
