Woman with very weird name goes viral after she goes on the run from the cops – and everyone is saying the same thing | The Sun

A SEARCH for a wanted fugitive has come to a close, but the public is still shaken up over her very unusual name.

Cletorious Aretha Fry, a Virginia fugitive who was wanted for violating the terms of her probation in 2019, quickly rose to internet fame for something beyond her criminal history.

The Virginia Department of Corrections asked the public to assist in their search for Aretha Fry in a post made on January 15 that year.

According to police, the 34-year-old woman allegedly removed her ankle bracelet and could not be located.

Shortly after her name was released to the public, people began pointing out that Cletorious Aretha Fry sounded like two parts of the female anatomy.

The post garnered wide attention, receiving over 250,000 comments and 200,000 shares.

Many people took the opportunity to crack a few jokes about her parent's name selection.

One person joked: "History's longest manhunt continues…"

Another said: "Don’t you think we are all ovary acting a bit?"

Someone who claimed to have experience in law enforcement said that they came across odd names often.
